Happy Monday! December kind of feels like a season of its own to me. We’ve already posted our fall blog post ideas list, and it’s not quite winter (we’re going to need another list to get us through January and February). So, we decided to make it official and brainstorm 25 holiday blog post ideas for you! Isn’t it so much easier to get inspired this time of year? :)
1. Post a recipe using apple cider. Duh!
2. The holidays are all about giving. Share the new ways in which you’re giving this year. This is a great way to force yourself to take action if you’ve been wanting to but weren’t sure how to start.
3. I recently saw an article about conversation starters; create your own list of favorite conversation starters to spice up your holiday gatherings.
4. Create a roundup of favorite holiday outfit inspiration.
5. Post an unconventional gift guide full of ideas your readers would have never thought of.
6. Spend a day crafting and documenting your work, and break it into different holiday craft tutorials.
7. Either treat yourself or DIY your own holiday manicure and post photos for inspiration.
8. Create a holiday cocktail bar and post a recipe along with photos.
9. Post a guide to spending the holidays in your specific city. What’s there to do and see?
10. Who’s the hardest person in your life to shop for? Start a conversation on your blog to generate ideas.
11. Go to a holiday craft fair or market and give your favorite shops some blog love.
12. Post a guide to craft fairs in your region so readers can shop small.
13. Write out your top 3 goals for the New Year.
14. Write out all the ways to save money this season. People will find it refreshing in such a shopping-heavy month. :)
15. If you’re not the going out type, create an anti-NYE guide with what you’d do December 31st instead. Get creative!
16. Bake up a brand new cookie recipe, even if you have to wing it, and post about it–whether it’s a success or failure.
17. Use this list as an excuse to go on your favorite winter adventure and blog about your experience, whether it’s a day in the mountains or a trip to the ice skating rink.
18. Brighten dark days with Moorea Seal’s 52 Lists for Happiness and let the lists inspire posts.
19. Write down the blogs, websites, books, and social media accounts that have been your biggest sources of inspiration this year and create an inspirational post to motivate people in the new year.
20. DIY wreath with step by step photos. I can’t get enough of these!
21. Recreate your happiest holiday memory, with a present-day spin.
22. Make holiday cards by hand and blog pictures of each along with a guide to festive materials.
23. The top 10 life lessons you learned in the past 12 months.
24. Post a tutorial for some DIY gift wrap you haven’t seen on Pinterest.
25. Make a list of the books you vow to read before Christmas or New Years. If you love to blog about books or creativity, this is sure to inspire more than one post.
What’s your favorite holiday topic to blog about?

I can’t think of anything but Christmas; I’ve totally forgotten about New Years! I usually make a blog post at the end of the year or beginning of the year, so I should start thinking about that :D Thanks for the reminder! ;P -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
