I’m excited about this post because this is such an interesting time of year to blog. That giant push to get seasonal content out the door is over—we had so much fun with holiday content!—and things have simmered a bit. Hopefully you were inspired to write as many fall blog posts as possible. It seems like fall is long gone, but now we’re really just in the thick of winter. Even though it’s a new year and you might be starting fresh with blogging resolutions, I personally find this time of year to be slightly uninspiring. I think it’s because I get so much inspiration from being outdoors. Anyway, here’s to getting surprisingly inspired with blogging ideas!
1. Record a “things to do before spring” bucket list.
2. Check in later with a recap or a few separate posts on things you’ve pushed yourself to do.
3. A series on Valentine’s Day parties, from your inspiration to actually styling an event.
4. Write about how to make the most of January.
5. Valentine’s Day DIY tutorial.
6. Your agenda for a rainy day spent indoors.
7. Blog any holiday photos you never shared.
8. Choose a resolution and record what sticking to it so far is like. (Mine would be full of attempts at new recipes.)
9. Create a style post highlighting items you’ll be storing away when the weather changes.
10. Write about the biggest mistake you made last year and what you learned.
11. Create a new recipe using your favorite comfort foods and share.
12. January is a big time to detox—what are you detoxing from this time of year (health or otherwise!)
13. Think about your most popular blog post of last year and write out 10 ideas for posts based off of that. Choose the best ones and write follow ups!
14. When it comes to a new year, do you set intentions or resolutions or do something else altogether?
15. Try a winter craft you won’t get a chance to when the weather warm’s up.
16. Put together a winter playlist and share it with your followers.
17. Bundle up, get outside, and photograph a nature-filled adventure. (We’re always up for those!)
18. Share what you’re most looking forward to about springtime.
19. Host a cozy, indoor dinner party and blog about it.
20. Create a DIY calendar and share your process.
21. Share your favorite wintery beauty and skincare essentials.
22. Create a reading list for the year and share it on your blog.
23. Take a creative online class (perfect for cold days!) and share your final project.
24. Attend a local event that sounds interesting but you otherwise wouldn’t – the new year is all about trying new things!
25. Share your winter reading list and review your favorite books.
Which will you write about first?

Great ideas! It’ll be cool to try & brainstorm paintings from this list! The most obvious is a style post on items for weather changes but the others will be a good challenge even if I don’t post them :)

I’m planning on making my boyfriend something for Valentine’s Day but I never considered blogging about it so I think I’ll give that a try!
