Spring is an interesting time in blog world. Life in general is really inspiring because the weather is picking up, those who are in school usually feel a bit more optimistic about the year ending in just a few months, and things are just a bit more cheerful. You’d think that would translate over to countless inspired blog posts full of exciting content… but no. If I don’t have to be behind the computer screen on a sunny day, you certainly won’t find me there. But the reason I’ve always loved blogging and have never really stopped—even when it’s the hardest thing to do—is that I want to share my experiences. I like write about what I’ve been up to or what’s on my mind, so it’s even more important to do that when I’m at my busiest. To help document the season ahead, we rounded up 25 of our favorite things to blog about in the spring. Some of them are super simple like going on a walk, and some of them require a bit of planning, like hosting your own spring gathering. My hope is that this will inspire you to keep taking pictures and writing and posting so that everyone else can be inspired too. Enjoy!
- Document your first walk of spring
- Share a photo tour of exteriors in your neighborhood
- Grab some of your favorite flowers and share different ways of displaying them
- Post a recap of your farmers or craft market finds and do a spotlight on the vendors
- A DIY of a spring craft—those are the best!
- First outdoor gathering of the season (if you don’t have one planned, now is a good time to start!)
- Share a tour of the best places to buy iced coffee or tea in your area
- Favorite spring fashion trends and how you wear ‘em
- First spring purchase, whether it’s a dress, home décor, or whatever
- Ideal Memorial Day vacay and what your travel must-have list
- Share a moodboard of your fave spring colors
- Post about how you’ve been wearing the color of the year, Marsala
- Post a recipe using seasonal ingredients
- A roundup of your ideal picnic, how it would look and what you’d bring, then have one and share it later in the season
- Go on a hike with your camera and share what you find
- Spring clean your workspace and share your tips
- Speaking of spring cleaning, how about a before and after?
- Experiment with watercolor techniques and document the results
- Paint a wall, furniture, or home décor a bright spring color and share the how-to
- Learn how to make paper flowers and post your fave tutorials
- Reuse décor from a different season and show how you made it work with spring
- Write a spring bucket list and invite others to share their goals
- Do a spring craft or recipe from Pinterest and post it whether or not it’s a success
- Think of your favorite childhood spring activity, go do that, and then blog about it
- Research ways to volunteer or celebrate Earth Day this year and post a guide
Hope you liked this list! In honor of #24, I’m heading to the park to swing on some swings for sure this month. If you have more ideas, leave them in a comment and we’ll edit this post to add to the list!

There are so many places I’ve said I wanted to go to since the beginning of the school year, but we’re already 75%+ of way through and I still haven’t gone to most of them! I’ve been saying that I wanted to wait for the weather to clear up, and it finally has, so hopefully I’ll be doing more exploring :) I love the idea of documenting your first walk of spring! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

Oh yeah, it’s interesting to think of all the different posts/stories you can get just from one topic.
Let me know if you blog those, I want to check it out!

Thanks Angela! My husband and I went on a day trip to DC and I posted a ton of the pictures I took with my brand new camera (woo!): http://twothreethirteen.blogspot.com/2015/04/dc-photo-tour.html
For work I did a post on using some of the 2015 colors of the year in home decorating. Of course I included Pantone’s Marsala: http://bestnovapainters.com/2015-color-trends/
Enjoy!

Ohh thanks for sharing links! I love that coral in your work post… If only I were brave enough to paint a whole room that color! I just did purple on one of my bedroom walls and it was almost too much, ha :)
