When I moved to Portland a few years ago, I was thrilled to find a bunch of networking opportunities to meet other bloggers. However, I didn’t even think to have business cards printed beforehand! Once when I was in a rush, I actually printed them myself and glued them to patterned paper. They were super crafty and cute but not so professional. Finally, I took the time to design my own business cards for my web development business and eventually for The Blog Market.
While I enjoyed designing them from scratch, I know not everyone has time for that. If you don’t have a design background or don’t feel like hiring someone to create them for you, you can simply find a nice business card template, tweak it a little to match your branding, and send it off to a printing company (we use Moo.com). The best business card templates we’ve seen are from Creative Market and Etsy. Most templates serve as a guide but allow you to customize the colors, patterns, and images, so you don’t have to worry that your design will look like everyone else’s. Check out our favorites below!
