Remember when gold blew up a few years back? Before, it was this dated metallic that no one wanted to see anywhere. Silver was the way to go. Now gold is everywhere. I always had a penchant for gold so that’s okay with me (I kind of love when a trend I’m into breaks into the mainstream; shopping is so. much. easier.) but this whole time I’ve been wondering what will take its place. There are only so many choices when it comes to metallics. Copper is definitely a big contender, as is brass. But copper has that pink tint that gives it a little more interest—like a feminine yet industrial feel. And it also pairs well with my bohemian home décor tastes as of late. On to all the ways to adorn your office/home office/partial-office-partial-bedroom/nook/whatever with this fun metallic:
one, two, three, four, five, six, seven
Copper kinda breeds original design I think. Even though it’s super widely available lately, it’s also taking the form of sleek and unique products, like these lamps and plant hangings. It pairs well with black; it looks good in rustic spaces. I love it with dusty pastels for a light ‘n bright, boho yet fairly minimal vibe. How do you take your copper?
