Do you ever feel like you’re so busy and overwhelmed all the time, but in reality you aren’t getting a lot done? I feel this way a lot. In my experience, when my mind is on a hundred projects at once, I get through them much more slowly than if I were to sit down and focus on one thing at a time. This is a habit I’ve been working on breaking for a while, and I think I’m finally getting there. :)
This week, we shared tips on how to maintain creativity when you’re busy. Staying inspired and making time for creativity is a big form of self-care (which we are very passionate about if you couldn’t already tell). It can lower your stress levels and help you be way more productive in your day-to-day tasks. Below are some more helpful tips for those of us who are constant busy bees. Check them out!
1. If you hold a 9-5 job aside from your passion project, you know it can be tricky to make time for creativity. Check out October June’s post on how to live a creative life on a 9-5 schedule!
2. Setting realistic goals (and prioritizing them well) can make a huge positive difference in your day-to-day schedule. I love Lauren’s tips for setting and achieving your goals on Restored 316.
3. I’m always inspired when I see how other creative people plan out their weeks. In this post, Paige of The Paige Studio shares how she structures her week as an online entrepreneur.
4. Finally, Brittni of Paper & Stitch shared an oh so relevant post on how to take a break when you really don’t have time to take break. I’m sure this feeling resonates with many of us.
Alright, that’s all for this week! What are you up to this weekend? Also, how on earth is it already the last weekend of the month?!

This is exactly what I needed. I’m trying to juggle a full-time job but also make my blog into something meaningful and thoughtful. At times it can run me dry. Comforting to know others are doing it and finding the balance that works for them.

Thanks for this great post! I am a new blogger and being a list maker helps keep me on track! Otherwise, I am all over the place trying to accomplish way too many things at once!
