Let’s talk about WordPress themes! We’ve already shared all about why we prefer using the Genesis Framework for WordPress as a template for The Blog Market. I use it when creating most of my clients’ websites too. Its flexibility and options for customization are amazing. To use Genesis, you’ll need to have the Genesis Framework installed as well as a child theme. The framework theme comes with a sample child theme that you can customize to your heart’s desire. However, if you don’t want to spend time navigating the many ways to add code to Genesis, you can just find an already pretty theme and install it! I have several go-to Genesis child themes that I recommend to people all the time. The themes below are affordable and great for all different types of creative bloggers.
1. Kindred WordPress Theme by Station Seven

I had never heard of the Genesis framework. If I get tired of my theme I’ll have to revisit this article.
