Happy December, everyone! Today’s resources are all about how to schedule social media and when to do it. I’ve used so many different social media scheduling apps over the years, but if we’re all just scheduling it out, who’s actually paying attention? Maybe we’ll share our own process later this month (mostly real-time posting with a bit of scheduling), but for now, here’s what four other bloggers have to say:
We love what Monique of Peach Branding had to say on why you may not want to schedule social media. I have to agree! I think you can find a good balance of automation and genuine engagement in your digital business.
If you’re deciding whether or not to schedule certain aspects of your social media, you might want to read this post by See Girl Work on the different scheduling tools you have at your disposal!
Make It Thrive also hits the nail on the head in terms of the whole whether to automate your social media debate. There’s a time and a place for everything!
We had to share this piece from Michaela Hoffman from earlier this year on how to stress less about your social media strategy, too. Having certain tasks scheduled in advance can alleviate a lot of potential stress, but you’ll also want to schedule time for authentic engagement and interaction. Great advice!
Do you schedule your social media? Do you usually notice when others do? There’s so much more to say on this topic, but we’ll leave it at that for now. :) Happy weekend!
