The other day, I thought it would be fun to google “how many blogs are on the internet?” I couldn’t even find an answer since so many blogs are created probably every minute. As you can imagine, there are millions of us starting blogs as hobbies, businesses, assets to our businesses, etc. Getting noticed in such an overwhelmingly crowded market is isn’t easy (especially for us introverts). Angela and I have frequent content brainstorming sessions and often conclude that some of our blog post ideas have already been done in some way or another. We have to work extra hard to make sure what we post on TBM is unique and well thought out.
I’ve been coming across many blog posts providing tips on standing out in a crowded market, and it’s reassuring that other people get this feeling too! You don’t have to be super bold and outgoing to make a splash in the sea of bloggers (although if that’s your personality, you should totally embrace it). There are other strategic ways to make sure your blog or business stands out and reaches just the right audience.
1. In her post on how to stand out in a crowded market, Jamie of Spruce Rd. shares how narrowing her services helped her design business stand out and how it can help yours as well.
2. Recently on The Wonder Forest, Brittany shared a post on how bloggers can stand out in a crowded market. She emphasizes that even though blogging is truly a crowded market, it’s still full of opportunity. So true!
3. Looking to get your brand noticed? Allison of Wonderlass shared 18 ways to make your brand stand out, and we love all of her positive advice.
4. Finally, we enjoyed reading Beth’s post on Sweetly Sparta about standing out as a blogger, even in crowded niches. She makes really significant and straightforward points that we all can benefit from.
Well, there you have it. There are millions upon millions of other bloggers and online biz owners. But we all have something special to offer and the online world is so full of amazing opportunities. In case you missed it, Angela shared a post on why it’s never too late to start a blog, and it’s definitely worth reading.
Hope you all have a happy weekend!
