Isn’t it funny how things will resurface on Pinterest that were popular months or even years ago? It’s always nice to see one of your pins suddenly get repinned 300 times with no explanation. Recently I was looking through some pins and remembered I’d repinned this quote from Oh Happy Day’s Instagram. Hadn’t realized it’s from 83 weeks ago! It seemed so perfect for some new graphics we want to start sharing! Each week we’ll share a new quote or words of wisdom and hopefully open up a dialogue :)
Does this resonate with anyone else? I think my biggest problem is that sometimes when I have a lot of little things to do or even when I have a big project… No matter how exciting it is (or the fact that I am the one that assigned myself the project… I am always taking on new things), I have a tendency to build it up before diving in. Don’t get me wrong, I can be very productive when I finally get there. And once I do, I feel so much better! It’s just this hurdle of starting. And of course, every moment that I don’t start I am just thinking about how I really need to. It’s a crazy cycle. I’ve always been this way, but now that I’m fully responsible for ensuring that all my work is finished, it really comes to the surface.
But I always, always feel better when I start working and of course when I accomplish those things. I start to remember why and how I got here in the first place. Truly, the only way to feel better is to do the work. And not to go off on a tangent, but it SO rings true for just about everything else. Last week I went jogging everyday and it was a big challenge for me because for the longest time I’d fallen out of working out and didn’t know how to get started. Every day I struggle with it but when I’m finally moving it’s like an instant switch. Physically, mentally, I am instantly better. I could go on!
Do you struggle with this? Do you find that you do feel better once you get going? We’d love to hear your thoughts!

This quotes is really inspiring! It’s really hard to start working, especially when you see the tasks you have to do, but once you start working on it, it definitely gives you a sense of accomplishment! Love this quote!<3

I feel exactly the same way about a lot of things! Working on my e-course for example. I know that if I just spend an hour on it every day, it’ll be done before I know it. Yet the “getting started” part can be so hard. The same goes for my morning workout/yoga practice.
I’m going to print off this quote and stick it on my desk as a reminder! :)
