Hi there! How has everybody’s week been? Over the past few days, Angela and I have been chatting a lot about the future of The Blog Market, which is exciting! I also started the online workshop Be Free, Lance. Have you heard of it? Such a great course from such talented designers.
As usual, I spent some of my downtime catching up on blogs and gathering blogging tips here and there.
1. Love this post by Under Honest Trees on how to brand your blog. This is really helpful if you’re a new blogger and want to keep a well-branded space on the interwebs. It’s also helpful if you’re a longtime blogger and need to create more consistency with your design and content. Win-win!
2. Writing a blog manifesto can help you gain so much clarity and give you lots of confidence when talking about your blog to others. I’m absolutely loving this article by Krystal from The Feisty House on how to create a blog manifesto and why it is useful.
3. The simple technique to save hours on your blog. Okay… I thought this was an exaggeration, but this post on time management by Blog Genie actually changed my thought process on time management a ton. In this post, Rita talks about Parkinson’s Law: “Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion.” Whoa! I’ve been thinking about it all week.
4. Finally, since many of us bloggers are introverts (holla to my INFPs!), I thought I’d include this amazing Design Sponge article full of biz tips for introverts.
Have a fun weekend! May we all find some time to relax. :)

I am so happy you shared Rita’s post – I downloaded Nozbe and it’s just what I’ve been looking for. Also, I’m totally amazed by how much I can get done if I give myself a time limit, and it’s nice to hear that she had a similar revelation. (PS – INFJ here, woop!)

Glad you liked it Jennifer! I’ve started setting time limits lately too, and it’s made all the difference.
Also, I’m realizing there are SO many INFJs in the blog and design world! Definitely not a coincidence. :)
