Good morning! To be honest, we had a different theme for this week’s resources in mind when we started researching. But good resources are hard to come by! Sometimes we have to skip a week because we always want to make sure we only link to really helpful posts. So, while you might not see resources every week here on TBM anymore, hopefully you’ll love the ones you do find.
Anyway, lately I’ve gotten back into editing photos and making graphics and started looking for some fresh tutorials. Jennifer has also posted Illustrator resources and Photoshop tools for bloggers, so there’s no shortage of ways to learn. The posts below talk about Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator, so choose which works best for your project.
1. We liked this tutorial from Elan Creative on how to make mockups for printables in Photoshop for those of you that offer printable downloads.
2. This guide to Lightroom for bloggers from Blogging 4 Keeps is a bit older but I’m glad I came across it on Pinterest, because it’s really comprehensive without being too techy like a lot of Adobe tutorials I come across.
3. We’ve shared Every Tuesday’s Illustrator tutorials before, but we thought this intertwine text + vector elements how-to was pretty neat. Teela also has a post on watercolor texture brushes that’s so pretty!
4. This guide by Lindsay Humes has an overview of the Adobe Creative Cloud and when to use each program. Super helpful!
What are you up to this hot July weekend? We’re spending as many Saturdays outdoors as we can!
