At first when we were gathering resources for today’s post, we weren’t sure what type of theme to go off of. And you know how we love themes! But after looking through some of the inspiring posts we came across this week, I realized that they all catered to the blogger who maybe is already established but wants to learn how to elevate her presence, or even just switch things up. Of course, this is all great advice for newbies too!
1. I’ve been reading the book Originals from our creative books list (new book club read anyone?) and there’s lots of evidence that sometimes the most successful people aren’t the most open to change and new processes (because they’re so good at the established ones). So I was really inspired by this post on Forever Amber about mistakes established bloggers make. It’s a unique read, and it really offers insight on how those of experts can learn new tricks.
2. If your blog has years worth of content, you might want to re-promote some old articles, but first you need to make sure it’s all updated and polished. Beautiful Dawn shares how to update old posts.
3. Beauty & Cherries has a huge list of tools for bloggers, and picking a few to experiment with would be a great way to take your strategy up a notch and maybe even surprise your readers.
4. Lastly, we loved The Collective Mill’s story on how she hit her blogging stride. If you’ve been at it for awhile and want to see how to truly get the most out of this experience, this read is for you!
Be sure to also check out Jennifer’s recent post on blog etiquette, if you haven’t!
Got any plans for the weekend? I’m preparing to travel half of next month, so I’m trying to be super productive!

Thank you for sharing these tips! I’m still new to blogging, and was wondering if using emojis in your articles is good or bad for getting audience?
Thanks!
