Good morning! We’re super excited because on Monday we have a really fun giveaway to share! So be sure to check our blog + Instagram! Anyway, lately we’ve been feeling particularly inspired to post more content and resources, and have been brainstorming ways we can do that in the new year. Which is of course tricky since we both have tons of other commitments. That’s why the theme for our resources this week is blog organization tips. We know we can pull it off, it’s just about getting organized! Enjoy.
1. Desktop feeling cluttered with various blog post drafts and images? Follow Caitlin’s super detailed tutorial on And Possibly Dinosaurs for organizing your blog files and you’ll never lose anything again.
2. If you’re new to things like keeping a blog calendar or brainstorming posts in batches, Kate at Layered Indulgence will show you how to stay organized with all these new blogger tasks.
3. I love how Reverie Society’s Pamela talks about to-do lists (and life lists, which are very different and also helpful) as not a way to incite action but to help emotionally with overwhelm. So true! Read all her practical organization tips that will help not just bloggers, but those of you who are in school or holding down full-time jobs too.
4. If you feel lost when it comes to organizing blog post ideas, deadlines, and stats, you might want to download one of the many blog planners online, such as the download Uniquely Women shared. What’s helpful about this is that you don’t have to face the blank page wondering where to start–just make sure to find one that’s helpful for your individual needs.
