Earlier this week we talked about elements that every blog design should have, and even though this post seemed really simple, we thought it was so important because those elements are the first and most basic ways you connect with your audience (or potential audience). And because the internet is funny that way, as I was scrolling through Pinterest wondering what to post for resources this week, I came across a few posts that related to that audience experience. So today is all about the user, in regards to both the design and content of your blog.
1. Fashiony Fab has her own list of blog design must-haves that create a positive user experience. There’s some overlap with what we’ve talked about, but we totally agree with the remaining points too!
2. Your readers are everything. As bloggers grow, they often start to skimp on connecting with them. This post on The Crown Fox about building trust with your audience offers up some ways to naturally establish connection. It really should be written into your brand!
3. I originally clicked to Chloe Adlington’s blog for something else, but her tips for using Google Analytics to connect with readers are so relevant. GA is one of the best free tools you have at your disposal, and it’s well worth taking the time to learn how it can help you improve your content to best connect with visitors.
4. This post on Intentionally Designed about the value of knowing your audience is soooo helpful! I love how she tackles this subject from the perspective of someone who has a really creative mindset and struggled to shift that thinking into business mode, which I’m sure a lot of people can relate to!
What are your plans for the weekend? Enjoy!

Thank you for all those tips, I have no idea about using Google Analytics to help me connect with my audience.
