Hello team! I’m taking over resources this week. I was slightly concerned that I wouldn’t find quality blog posts to share with you all (not for lack of them, but the internet is a big place… it’s tricky to find the best of the best). Luckily we actually ended up with more than expected so not only will a few spill over to next week, but we stumbled upon some pretty great resources for small and creative business owners to share today. Here’s what I found…
1. There are a ton of blogger-to-business posts out there, but even the ones that suggest multiple income streams don’t do it without ads, sponsored posts, or affiliate links like Femtrepeneur. If you’re not into all of the above, you have more than enough options to monetize.
2. Home and lifestyle site Domaine has some important things to say when it comes to utilizing Pinterest for business. I thought the insights into how Pinterest actually works were quite helpful.
3. Rather than getting lost in a sea of blog posts on the subject, how about having a mega-list of ways to market your small business in your back pocket? Thanks to Evan Gracie we now do, and it’s just what you need to get going.
4. Newsletters are a big deal. I feel like people are either strongly for them or don’t know what the heck they are. This post from Nora Conrad is all about MailChimp, which you definitely need to know about if you are considering starting one up. It’s nice and detailed just like one would want when launching into something as intimidating as starting a mailing list!
What is everyone up to this weekend? Any resources to share?

I’m a die-hard fan of your weekly resources, and you can just imagine how happy I am to be featured! I just discovered Femtrepreneur and Nora Conrad – those are really rad resources. Thanks so much for including my blog post. I also love the fact that the resources are theme-based and not overwhelming (i.e not like a list of 25 resources at a time). It makes it very easy to go through all of them!

So glad you liked these!! You’re welcome :) We’ve been trying to do themes more often so they’re more focused for people searching for tips, so thanks for the comment!
