We’re kind of pretending it’s Friday here on The Blog Market today. Since we want to sign off for the next few days, we gathered our weekly resources a bit early. Hopefully it gives you time to actually check these posts out and continue getting your blog and business prepared for the new year!
1. Writing out a business plan can seem difficult (and even unnecessary) if you’re a blogger, but Chayla Charlise wrote a business plan for creatives that explains exactly what to do. If your blog or biz is more on the creative end, this will be so much more helpful than a regular ‘ol business plan.
2. A few weeks ago we talked about ways to make money on your blog. If you plan to monetize in the next year, one way to bring in income in perhaps a more interesting (and natural) way than sponsored posts or adds is by offering services to your readers, as Hayli De Jong points out.
3. It’s hard to know where to start when turning ideas into action, but Tasha at Imperfect Concepts has a great method for breaking down goals by the numbers so you have something more tangible to plan with.
4. If you feel overwhelmed by all this blogging and business advice, I’d suggest starting off with this list of 20 ways to reset, reflect, and refresh for the new year on The Blissful Mind. It’s a great way to clear your mind before moving forward!
Happy holidays! We’ll be back at it on Monday. :)

What a great quick summary of the blogging business. So many people ask me how to start making money blogging and there are so many answers to that question but your simple list would be very helpful in answering that question.
Thank you for the post!

I love when you do these posts! Most of the time I am introduced to sources I would of not seen. I am glad you mentioned items for feeling overwhelmed and goals to have for next year to start the year off right. And minimization! Ah! That can be over whelming haha.
