Good morning and happy weekend! Today’s resources are all about freelancing, a topic we’ve shared on our weekly resources series many times before. I’m beginning to realize there is always something to learn about freelancing and always advice to find useful. It’s not like you can take one course and have it all figured out. The creative online world is ever-changing. Who even knows what it’ll be like six months from now? For this reason, I keep bookmarking posts for freelancers, no matter how many I’ve already read. Here are some recent faves!
1. It’s always a good idea to step back and re-evaluate your freelance career a little. In Lauren Carns thoughts on her first full year of freelancing, she shares several insights about what has worked or not worked throughout the year.
2. Figuring out pricing in your freelance business can be such a hassle, and it’s definitely a trial and error process. I love Ashley’s post on BFBAF about what you can and can’t bill for as a freelancer.
3. Resources within resources! Check out these 20 free or affordable freelance tools over on Creative Boom.
4. The question I’m asked most often is, “how do you find clients?” My clients usually find me through social media or word of mouth, but there are several additional ways to reach people. Visit Explorista for 8 ways to find freelance clients!

Enjoy your weekend!
