This past week was a crazy whirlwind of projects, planning, and very late nights! As productive as it was, I am so dang thankful that it’s finally the weekend. Since I have been freelancing full-time, I’ve been trying my best not to work on weekends (although sometimes I can’t help it). When I need to relax but really want to be somewhat productive, I turn to my good old friend Pinterest. It’s funny how some people consider it a fun waste of time while others use Pinterest for blogging or for their businesses. Regardless of how we use it, I think we can all agree that it’s amazing. Here are some Pinterest-related resources that you should definitely bookmark if you’re a creative blogger or business owner.
1. Need to make your blog images pinnable? WordPress users, check out this simple pin-it button tutorial over on Creatives in Transit and enjoy their cute pin-it button freebies!
2. I’m obsessed with Kayla Hollatz’s list of ways to up your Pinterest game. Each point is so spot on and she includes a free Pinterest checklist which is extremely helpful.
3. Rachel of The Crafted Life recently shared a couple of common pin-it button mistakes and how to fix them. These details are so important in getting your correct blog posts and photos pinned.
4. Lastly, here is an excellent list of 3 ways to make your images Pinterest-friendly (and likely to be shared across the web), courtesy of Meg Sylvia for Sarah Von Bargen’s blog.
Well I’m off to finish last minute tasks before the weekend and probably get lost on Pinterest for an hour or two. Have a good weekend! Hope you all are able to stay cool and find some shade because the sun is not messing around these days.

wow this post came at the perfect time for me! I seriously need to up my Pinterest game? I find Pinterest a slightly weird, but amazing bubble of social media. It’s not like the others where the more people you follow and like the more people that return the favour!
Thanks
