Happy Friday friends! Was this an off week for anyone else? Both Jenn and I were just talking about how we kept getting days mixed up and being forgetful all week long. I was in a Friday mindset all week, and then when it actually rolled around this morning, I had to pay for it-I didn’t have nearly as much done as I should so now it’s like a normal day! But the weekend will be here in no time and for those of you in the same boat, we’ve rounded up some great posts about blogging (and freelancing) and finding the best apps for efficiency and fun!
1. I liked Feast + West’s guest post over on Lemon Thistle because it featured a bunch of apps I hadn’t even heard of. Perfect for spending a rainy afternoon discovering new ways to get things done!
2. Have you used the Pancake app before for your freelance business? Since so many bloggers are also biz owners, it seems super helpful. Check out Nesha’s tutorial on it and see how it could make invoicing and organization easier for you.
3. I don’t know a thing about Periscope so I really appreciated that the overview on the Alt Summit blog was short and to the point. I don’t think I’ll be downloading it any time soon personally (I just signed up for Snapchat two days ago. I know, I know.) but I can see how DIYers or design bloggers could share some great stuff.
4. This is apps for bloggers list from Crafts on Sea is really practical and doesn’t contain a lot of unnecessary trending apps. It’s really just about apps to help you get stuff done! I have a less is more approach to apps so I think it would help anyone just getting things together for the first time.
We’ve seen a ton more helpful and specific posts on apps, like In Honor of Design’s list of best photo editing apps and The Blogging Brew’s must-have apps list, so there may be more posts like this in the future! What about you? Would you like to see more posts about apps or are you satisfied with what you already use?

Smartphones have become the biggest trend when comes to technology. People look for different apps to help them to get things done and be productive. I use my iPhone a lot, and apps become important to me for a lot of things.
