Hey everyone! Are you so happy it’s finally Friday? I definitely am. This week, we’ve had blog design on our minds because our relaunch is literally right around the corner (!!!). In case you missed it, on Wednesday Angela shared 6 mistakes we’ve made with our blog designs in the past. I find myself cringing whenever I think of my past designs, but I have to remember that designing a blog is a huge learning experience every single time.
Today I have some posts from other bloggers we love on the topic of cleaning up your blog design. You don’t always have to do a major rebrand and change everything about your blog in order to make it look better. Sometimes a small refresher does the trick!
1. A couple months ago, Gina Alyse wrote an amazingly helpful post on how to declutter your blog. In this post, she shares 11 things that you can remove from your website in order to make it cleaner and easier to navigate.
2. It may be fall, but spring cleaning is always relevant here in blogland. Visit Blog Ambitions for three detailed ways to spring clean your blog! This post is especially great for those of you who use WordPress.
3. Check out this post on Blogging Basics 101 for practical (and very detailed) ways to keep your blog design clutter free and user friendly!
4. Any Blogger users out there? Here are 5 easy ways to clean up your blog from Bramble and Lace. I love all of the code snippets included in this post!
Do you have resources that help you keep your blog design clean and tidy? Share your tips in the comments!
Have a wonderful weekend!!

Totally agree with the auto playing videos! I don’t like them on other sites, so I wouldn’t do that to my own readers either!
